Shop Pay
Shop Pay is Shopify's accelerated checkout option. If you have previously used Shop Pay on any Shopify-powered store, you can check out with just your email and a six-digit verification code. Shop Pay also offers installment payment options where available.

We do not accept cash, checks, money orders, wire transfers, cryptocurrency, gift cards from other retailers, or any payment method not listed above. If you attempt to place an order using an unsupported payment method, your order will not be processed and no charge will be applied to your account. All available payment methods are clearly displayed on our checkout page before you confirm your purchase.

You enter your payment information directly into Shopify's encrypted checkout form. This form is hosted on Shopify's PCI DSS Level 1 certified servers, not on our own servers. This means your sensitive payment data never passes through or is stored on Blank Kingdom's infrastructure at any point.

Your bank or payment provider verifies your account, checks for available funds, and returns an authorization approval or decline code to Shopify's payment system. This process typically takes only a few seconds.

Every order is automatically screened by Shopify's built-in fraud detection system. This system analyzes signals such as IP address consistency, billing and shipping address matching, and order behavior patterns to identify potentially fraudulent transactions. Orders flagged as high risk may be held for review or canceled. This protects both our customers and our business from unauthorized card use.

Your Order Is Confirmed and Your Payment Is Captured
Once authorization and fraud screening are complete, your payment is captured and your order is confirmed. We receive only a payment confirmation token — never your actual card number, CVV, or bank account details. You will immediately receive an order confirmation email at the address you provided at checkout.
PCI DSS Level 1
Our payment processor, Shopify Payments, holds PCI DSS Level 1 certification — the highest level of compliance available under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. This standard is mandated by all major card networks including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
256-Bit SSL Encryption
All pages on blankkingdom.com — including checkout — are protected by 256-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption. This is the same level of encryption used by banks and financial institutions worldwide to protect sensitive online transactions.
3D Secure Authentication
We support 3D Secure 2 (3DS2), an additional authentication layer supported by Visa (Verified by Visa), Mastercard (SecureCode), and American Express (SafeKey). When triggered, you may be asked by your bank to verify your identity before your payment is approved.
No Card Storage
We never store, access, or have visibility into your full card number, CVV security code, or bank account credentials. This data is handled exclusively by Shopify Payments and your payment provider, and never resides on our own servers.

Pricing & Currency

Pricing, Currency, and What You Pay

All Prices Are Displayed in US Dollars (USD)
All product prices listed on blankkingdom.com are in United States Dollars (USD). The price you see on a product page is the price you pay for that item before applicable taxes, discounts, and shipping fees. We do not display prices in any other currency. If your card or payment account is denominated in a currency other than USD, your bank or payment provider will convert the amount at their applicable exchange rate. Any currency conversion fees charged by your bank are outside of our control and are not included in your order total.
Price Accuracy and Product Availability
We take every reasonable measure to ensure that all prices listed on our website are accurate and up to date. However, in the rare event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or pricing system error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and refund any payment collected. We will notify you immediately if this occurs. We do not fulfill orders at incorrectly listed prices if the error results in a price that is clearly incorrect and substantially lower than the actual intended price.
Your Total Order Cost — What Is Included
Before you complete your purchase, our checkout page will display a complete itemized order summary. This summary includes the subtotal for all items in your cart, any applicable discount codes or promotions, the calculated shipping fee for your selected shipping method and delivery address, and any applicable sales tax. The total displayed at the final checkout confirmation screen is exactly what will be charged to your payment method — there are no hidden fees added after checkout.
Promotional Pricing and Discount Codes
From time to time, we offer promotional discounts, sale prices, and discount codes. Promotional prices are only valid for the duration stated in each promotion. Discount codes must be entered in the designated "Discount Code" field at checkout before your order is submitted. Discount codes cannot be applied retroactively to orders that have already been placed. Only one discount code may be applied per order unless otherwise specified in the promotion details. Sale prices shown on product pages already reflect the discounted amount.

Charge Timing

When Your Payment Is Charged

Your payment is charged in full at the time you place your order. We do not place a hold and charge later — we do not operate a pre-authorization-only model for standard orders. When you click "Place Order" or "Complete Purchase" at checkout and your payment is approved, the full order amount is immediately captured from your payment method.

This charge timing applies to all payment methods we accept, including credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. For Shop Pay Installments, the installment schedule and terms are governed by the installment provider's own agreement, which is presented to you during checkout before you commit to that payment plan.

If your order is later canceled — by you or by us — your full payment will be refunded to your original payment method within the timeframes described in Section 07 of this policy. You will never be charged for an order that is not fulfilled.

Sales Tax

Sales Tax — How It Works

We are required by United States law to collect applicable state and local sales tax on orders shipped to certain states. Here is a clear and transparent explanation of how sales tax works for orders placed on blankkingdom.com:

We Collect Sales Tax Based on Your Shipping Address
Sales tax is calculated based on the state and locality to which your order is being shipped, not the state where our business is registered. Shopify's tax engine automatically calculates the correct tax rate for each delivery address at checkout. The applicable tax amount is displayed clearly on your order summary before you confirm payment. After the Supreme Court's South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc. (2018) ruling, online retailers are required to collect sales tax in states where they have "economic nexus," even without a physical presence in that state.
New Jersey Sales Tax — Our Home State
Knight Apparel USA Inc. is registered in New Jersey and collects New Jersey sales tax on all orders shipped to addresses within New Jersey, in compliance with the New Jersey Sales and Use Tax Act (N.J.S.A. 54:32B). The current standard New Jersey sales tax rate is 6.625%. Certain items may be exempt or taxed at different rates under New Jersey law. The applicable tax will always be clearly shown at checkout.
Tax on Orders Shipped to Other U.S. States
For orders shipped to states outside of New Jersey where we have established economic nexus, we collect and remit applicable state and local sales tax as required by that state's laws. The exact amount varies by state, county, and municipality. All applicable taxes are automatically calculated and displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase. We do not charge tax on any orders where no tax obligation exists under applicable law.
Sales Tax on International Orders
For orders shipped outside the United States, we do not collect U.S. sales tax. However, your country or territory may impose import duties, customs fees, VAT (Value Added Tax), or other local taxes on your shipment. These charges are assessed by your country's customs authority — not by us — and are the responsibility of the recipient (you). We have no control over these fees and cannot predict their amount. We recommend checking with your local customs office before placing an international order if you have concerns about potential import costs.

Tax amounts are never hidden. The exact tax you owe is always shown clearly in your order summary during checkout, before you click "Place Order." Your final order confirmation email will also include a full itemized breakdown, including the tax amount charged. Declines & Errors

Payment Declines and Transaction Errors

If your payment is declined or a transaction error occurs, no charge will be applied to your account and your order will not be processed. Here are the most common reasons a payment may be declined and what you can do about it:

Insufficient Funds or Credit Limit Reached
Your card or account does not have enough available balance or credit to cover the order total. What to do: Check your available balance with your bank, reduce your order total, or use a different payment method.
Incorrect Card Information
The card number, expiration date, CVV, or billing address entered does not match the information on file with your bank. What to do: Carefully re-enter your card details and ensure that the billing address matches exactly what your bank has on record.
Your Bank Flagged the Transaction as Suspicious
Your bank's fraud prevention system may automatically block online transactions or purchases from certain merchants. What to do: Contact your bank directly to authorize the transaction or lift any temporary block on online purchases, then place your order again.
Card Is Expired or Restricted for Online Purchases
Your card may have expired, been deactivated, or have restrictions that prevent online or international transactions. What to do: Use a different card or payment method, or contact your bank to update your card's settings.
Our Fraud Screening System Flagged the Order
In certain situations, our fraud detection system may prevent an order from being processed even if your bank approved the transaction. This is done to protect our customers. What to do: If you believe your order was incorrectly flagged, please contact us at info@blankkingdom.com and we will review your order manually.

A payment decline does not mean you were charged. If your bank shows a "pending" charge after a declined transaction, this is typically a temporary authorization hold placed by your bank, not an actual charge. These holds are released automatically by your bank, usually within 1 to 5 business days, depending on your bank's policies. We have no ability to release bank-side holds — you will need to contact your bank directly if a hold is causing concern.

Refunds

Refunds and Payment Reversals

All approved refunds are returned to your original payment method only. We do not issue refunds as store credit, gift cards, checks, or cash unless you specifically request store credit in writing, which we may offer at our discretion. Refunds are always issued using the same payment method and account that was used to place the original order.

Shipping Costs and Refunds
Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless your order was lost in transit, arrived damaged due to carrier mishandling, or we made an error with your order. If you are returning an item for a reason unrelated to a product defect or our error, the original shipping cost will not be included in your refund. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated in our Return Policy or agreed upon in writing by our support team.

Refund timelines shown above are estimates based on typical processing times. Actual timing depends on your bank or payment provider and is outside of our control. We initiate all refunds promptly on our end, but we cannot accelerate the processing speed of your financial institution. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

We are committed to resolving every customer issue quickly and fairly. If you have any concern with a charge on your account from Blank Kingdom, please contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank. In most cases, we can resolve the matter much faster than the formal bank dispute process, which can take 30 to 90 days or more to complete.

What Is a Chargeback?
A chargeback is a payment reversal initiated by your bank on your behalf when you dispute a charge. While chargebacks are an important consumer protection tool designed to address unauthorized transactions, they are often unnecessary when a legitimate dispute can be resolved directly with the merchant. We encourage all customers to contact us first at info@blankkingdom.com before involving their bank in any dispute.
How We Handle Chargebacks
If a chargeback is filed against a transaction where goods were legitimately ordered, shipped, and delivered in accordance with our policies, we will submit documented evidence to the card network or payment provider to contest the chargeback. This evidence may include order confirmation records, payment transaction logs, shipping carrier tracking data confirming delivery, and records of any customer communications. Fraudulent chargebacks on legitimately fulfilled orders may be reported to relevant authorities in accordance with applicable law, including the Electronic Fund Transfer Act (EFTA), 15 U.S.C. § 1693, and applicable card network rules.

Cancellations

Order Cancellations and Payment

Canceling Before Shipment
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@blankkingdom.com. Orders can typically be canceled only if they have not yet been processed for fulfillment or handed over to a shipping carrier. Our orders are processed quickly — often within the same business day — so cancellation windows may be short. If we are able to cancel your order before shipment, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method within the timeframes described in Section 07.
Canceling After Shipment
If your order has already been shipped, it cannot be canceled. In this case, you may initiate a return once your order is delivered, provided the item meets our return eligibility criteria as described in our Return and Refund Policy. Refusing delivery of a shipment without prior authorization from us may result in the package being returned to us, in which case your refund — if applicable — will be issued minus the cost of return shipping.
Cancellations Initiated by Blank Kingdom
In rare circumstances, we may cancel an order on our end. This may occur when an item becomes unavailable or out of stock after your order is placed, when our fraud detection system identifies a transaction as high risk, when the shipping address provided is undeliverable or incomplete and we cannot reach you for a correction, or when a pricing error has occurred on the product listing. If we cancel your order for any reason, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method and we will notify you via email explaining the reason for the cancellation.

Installments

Shop Pay Installments — Buy Now, Pay Later

We offer Shop Pay Installments as a buy-now, pay-later option through Shopify's partnership with Affirm, for eligible orders placed on blankkingdom.com. This option allows you to split your purchase into smaller installment payments. Shop Pay Installments is available for qualifying U.S. customers only.

Important: Shop Pay Installments is provided and managed by Affirm, not by Blank Kingdom. By choosing this payment option, you are entering into a separate financing agreement with Affirm. Affirm's own terms of service, privacy policy, and installment agreement will apply to your payment plan. Blank Kingdom is not a party to that financing agreement and has no control over its terms.

How It Works
If Shop Pay Installments is available for your order, you will see the option at checkout. You can choose to split your payment into 4 equal bi-weekly interest-free installments, or select longer payment plans (6, 12, or 24 months) for eligible larger purchases. Interest rates and eligibility depend on Affirm's assessment and are displayed transparently before you commit.
Eligibility
Shop Pay Installments is available to U.S. customers only. Eligibility is determined by Affirm based on factors including your credit profile and order total. Not all customers will qualify. There is no fee charged by Blank Kingdom to use this payment option — any applicable interest or fees are determined solely by Affirm and are disclosed to you before you confirm the installment plan.
Refunds on Installments
If you return an eligible item that was paid for using Shop Pay Installments, your refund will be applied to your outstanding Affirm installment balance first, then any remaining balance will be returned to your original payment source. Refund processing for installment-based payments may take longer than standard refunds. Contact Affirm directly for questions about your installment plan or refund status.

Fraud Prevention and Legal Compliance

We take fraud prevention seriously — both to protect our customers and to ensure the integrity of every transaction on our platform. Our payment processing infrastructure is designed to comply with all applicable United States federal and state laws governing electronic commerce and consumer payments.

Applicable Laws and Standards
PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard): All card payment processing is handled through Shopify Payments, which holds PCI DSS Level 1 certification — the most rigorous compliance level established by the PCI Security Standards Council, as required by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and other card networks.
Electronic Fund Transfer Act (EFTA), 15 U.S.C. § 1693: This federal law establishes the rights and liabilities of consumers who use electronic payment methods, including debit cards and digital wallets. We comply with the EFTA by maintaining accurate transaction records and honoring legitimate dispute and error resolution requests from consumers.
Truth in Lending Act (TILA), 15 U.S.C. § 1601: For any buy-now, pay-later or installment payment plans offered at checkout (such as Shop Pay Installments powered by Affirm), the installment provider is required to disclose all terms clearly, including APR, payment schedule, and total cost of financing, before you agree to the plan. We ensure that only installment providers who comply with TILA are made available through our checkout.
Fair Credit Billing Act (FCBA), 15 U.S.C. § 1666: This law gives credit card holders the right to dispute billing errors, including unauthorized charges and charges for goods or services that were not delivered. We honor all legitimate FCBA dispute rights and encourage customers to contact us first so we can resolve disputes quickly without requiring bank intervention.
FTC Regulations on Unfair or Deceptive Acts (15 U.S.C. § 45): We do not engage in any deceptive billing practices. All charges are authorized explicitly by the customer at checkout, all fees are disclosed before purchase, and we do not impose recurring charges or subscription fees without clear upfront disclosure and customer consent.
New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act (N.J.S.A. 56:8-1 et seq.): As a New Jersey-registered business, we comply with New Jersey's consumer protection laws, which prohibit deceptive commercial practices, false advertising, and fraudulent billing in connection with the sale of merchandise or services.
Automated Fraud Screening
Every order is automatically analyzed by Shopify's fraud detection engine before fulfillment. Orders flagged as high risk are reviewed manually and may be held or canceled to protect our customers.
Identity Verification
For orders where there is a mismatch between the billing address and the shipping address, or where unusual purchase patterns are detected, we may request additional identity verification before fulfilling the order.
No Unauthorized Charges
We will never charge your payment method without your explicit authorization at checkout. We do not store payment credentials for future charges without your knowledge and consent. There are no recurring or automatic billing arrangements on blankkingdom.com unless you specifically enroll in a service that includes them.
